Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Skola platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

Description of Service

Skola provides a competency-based education platform including skill tracking, evidence portfolios, assessment tools, parent communication, and analytics for schools, teachers, students, and parents.

User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Schools are responsible for managing user roles and permissions for their staff and students.

Acceptable Use

Users agree to use the platform only for lawful educational purposes. Prohibited activities include uploading harmful content, attempting to access unauthorised data, and interfering with platform operations.

Content Ownership

Students and schools retain ownership of the evidence and content submitted to the platform. Skola is granted a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely for platform operation.

Service Level

Skola aims for 99.9% platform uptime. We provide support during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM IST). Emergency support is available for critical issues affecting pilot deployments.

Limitation of Liability

Skola is not liable for indirect damages arising from platform use. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, user data is exported and deleted per the data retention policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice to account administrators. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
